That Thing! is a reading series created and produced by Ashley Grombol, Alice Johnson, and Molly Garber.
It was the result of a friendship that formed in an acting class in the spring of 2013. The trio wanted
to create a forum for new short plays that wasn't necessarily tied to a theatre company. It allowed budding
and established playwrights to hear new work aloud with professional actors in a casual setting. This was
made possible by the generosity and support of Linda and her staff at Characters Bar and Grill.
